Love, Beginning
Love
A thundering silence,
a weightless, textured sanctuary.
It shimmers and shines, monochromatic, poignantly invisible to the eye.
It dances, completely still, debilitatingly effortless,
and bellows beautifully with a gentle whisper.
It laughs in tears, cries with joy, and heats to an exquisite shiver.
It crushes with barely a touch,
a tangled mess of straight lines,
an impenetrable bubble to burst as it carries you away through the endless layers of a cloudless sky.
Love slowly drips a solitary downpour, it’s salted candy and fizzy lemonade.
It electrifies and shudders,
and your heart beats at half time with twice the intensity.
It’s hip-hop glazed opera, ice-on-fire, an incomprehensible knowing.
Love is scientifically philosophical,
the most intense feeling of numbness.
Simply complicated, it is both sides of a single dimension.
Love is amazing.
